Water Supply
Blumat Standard Pressure Reducer 1bar (15psi)
Description TRUE REDUCER - Not a mere flow controller, this brings water pressure down to 15 PSi (1 bar)! EASY TO INSTALL - Screws onto standard hose thread (3/4" input), and ouputs to 8mm tubing! ENDURING - Made from ABS plastic and designed with few points of failure, this is built to last! BLUMAT-READY - Designed specifically for blumat watering systems and 8mm tubing, no tools necessary! AUSTRIAN-ENGINEERED - This high-quality component is designed and manufactured by clever Austrians! Blumat systems need low pressure, much less than comes from normal house water connections. The blumat Pressure Reducer allows for easy integration of a municipal (or otherwise pressurized line, such as from a well) water line into a blumat, blusoak, or easysoak watering system. BEWARE IMPOSTERS! Many pressure reducers are not real pressure reducers at all, but are merely flow controllers, and reduce flow rates. However, reduced flow rates DO NOT necessarily correlate to reduced pressures. This is a true pressure reducer, and will reduce any incoming water (with a maximum pressure input of 87PSi) down to a 15PSi (1 bar) output. This is ideally suited and low enough for blumat systems and their components. Higher pressure will push tubing connections apart, and increase likelihood of flooding. This pressure reducer is extremely easy to use. The input side screws onto a standard 3/4" hose bibb or hose threading, often found on taps outside the home, or even faucets inside the home. The output side (featured with collar) is ideally suited for 8mm tubing (I suggest using our super-flex tubing). This is the size that integrates directly with tropf blumats. This adaptation makes setting up a blumat system from a hose or pressurized line an absolute breeze, and you can install your blumats in seconds. Blumat systems need low pressure, much less than comes from normal house water connections. Some of our kits include one of these but if you'd like to install the other ones or the separate components to a home water system, you'll need one of these Pressure Reducers. In gravity systems you'll also need one if your storage tank is high uphill. In Grow Rooms and Greenhouses with a reservoir for mixing nutrients, you can connect a small pressure pump to this and automatically feed your plants when you water. On one side it adapts to a 3/4" male hose thread and on the other directly to the Blumat 8 mm supply tube. Maximum input pressure is 87 psi.

Whole System Blumat Adjustable Pressure Reducer
Product Description: This Adjustable Pressure Reducer gives you full control over your Blumat system pressure—ideal for consistent performance and the flexibility to fine-tune your setup. It includes a 0–30 PSI pressure gauge, so you always know exactly what your system is running. This is one of the most important numbers to know in a Blumat setup, essential for troubleshooting and dialing in optimal performance. With a high flow rate of over 5 gallons per minute, this reducer can replace six or more standard Blumat pressure reducers. It’s powerful enough for the largest systems, yet adjustable and precise enough to use with small, single-zone setups as well. The pressure can be set anywhere from 2–14 PSI, allowing you to match system pressure to your specific needs. Different distribution methods (drippers, drip rings, BluSoak) and sensor counts may benefit from different pressure settings, and this reducer gives you the control to optimize performance. Pressure is adjusted by turning the black collar: Left (counterclockwise) = less pressure Right (clockwise) = more pressure Connections & Adapters:The reducer body has a ½" male pipe thread (MPT) inlet and a ¾" female pipe thread (FPT) outlet. Included adapters make it easy to install: Input: Adapts to ¾" female hose thread (FHT) for standard garden hoses or hose bibs Output: ½" Perma-Loc fitting (for Trunk Line Kits) 8mm barb adapter (for Supply Line Kits with Superflex tubing)

Blumat Water Reservoir - 5-Gallon Bucket w/ Lid & Bulkhead Fittings
Description Blumat-ready - This 5 gallon water tank comes ready with bulkheads/spigots for 8mm Blumat tubing! High quality - These buckets are made of HDPE food-grade plastic, and are assembled in the USA! Black/opaque - Designed to keep light out, these water reservoir tank(s) discourage algae growth! Ideal horticulture application - Will work for hydroponic bucket(s) or other gardening uses! Bucket with spigot(s) - Pre-installed, no tools required to get this reservoir working for your plants! Bulkheads are installed with nipples facing inward for shipping only. The bulkheads/spigots should be flipped around so that the nipples face outward for garden, horticultural, and hydroponic applications. These will work as reservoirs for Blumat watering systems, can work in hydroponic bucket system(s), can replace hydroponic reservoir(s), and are essentially kits for water barrels with spigots! You certainly don't need to be DIY-friendly to use these buckets, as we do the work requiring elbow grease and tools to get the bulkheads installed. These will deliver water wherever you take your tubing! The bulkheads perfectly integrate to 8mm tubing. We would highly recommend our ultra-high quality and durable silicone super-flex tubing. This can be installed onto this bucket - no tools required! It just slips over the nipples/barbs on the bulkheads that are pre-installed in the container. This 8mm tubing is the ideal size for Blumats, and will slip right over the barbs on the 8mm x 3mm x 8mm Tees (included with each Tropf Blumat). This bucket is really like hitting the "easy button" for Blumat systems, hydroponic watering systems, backyard gardening applications, or just about any other application that you require a 5-gallon reservoir for. This is really like a water barrel spigot kit that has already been configured and assembled for you! 5 Gallon Reservoir with two thru-hulls and lid. The two thru-hull fittings are installed backwards for shipment. When you receive your reservoir simply unscrew and flip the fittings. Grow plants anywhere! Just attach your Blumat 8mm line, fill with water, and almost instantly your plants are taken care of. This includes two installed Blumat adapters and a black lid. They have two connectors to make it easy to set up a "Blumat Loop" system. With these the water goes from 2 directions effectively giving you twice the capacity. It also equalizes the pressure and is a kind of "insurance policy" - if your line gets kinked, something clogs it up, or someone accidentally puts something heavy on it, all the plants will still get water. These are made from recyclable (#2) HDPE plastic called "the only safe plastic for drinking water" so you don't need to worry about anything bad going to your plants. The black color prevents algae and other nasties from growing in your water and also makes the water going to the roots hotter - a little known secret for superior plant growth.

Multi-Use Float Valve Kit
Description Easily keep your irrigation reservoir topped off and ready for use. Just drill a 3/4" hole and install this float valve assembly. It attaches to almost any supply line and automatically keeps your reservoir full. For small systems, this is a simple way of controlling your pressure without needing a pressure regulator. You can control the pressure by just changing the reservoir height or by adjusting the float valve. The included fittings give you a choice of connecting to your water supply line with a 1/2" MPT, a 3/4" FHT, or an 8 mm barb. The float valve system will cut off the flow of water to the tank once the water level inside has reached a certain level and then automatically replenishes the water in the 5 gallon bucket; as the plants are irrigated. This method is cost saving as it does not require complicated and pricey components such as pressure reducers and flow restrictors. These systems let you hook up to any water supply; city water, rain barrel, pressurized reservoir system, without needing a pressure reducer, flow restrictor or even Blumats. Instructions Step 1: Bore a ¾ inch hole into the reservoir *Take note to not make it too close to the ridge of the bucket. Step 2: Place in the threaded side on the inside of the bucket. Apply the rubber piece first and then the plastic piece on the outside of the bucket and then screw it down - right against the plastic. Before it's fastened make sure it is the right way up! Pressure Reducer, 1.3 bar (19 psi)
Description This a pressure reducer used for if you need a higher pressure due to having a longer distance going from your hose bib to your plants, or if your water supply is going up so you need a little extra pressure to bring it up vertically. Blumat systems need low pressure, much less than comes from normal house water connections. Some of our kits include a pressure reducer but if you'd like to install the other ones or the separate components to a home water system, you'll need one of these Pressure Reducers. For BluSoak Systems, use a our 0.5bar Pressure Reducer (7psi) as our BluSoak doesn't like pressure over 10psi and can even split. Or use one of these and a flow restrictor alternatively.

Adjustable Dosatron Blumat Pressure Pump System
DescriptionWant to use Dosatron products with Blumats? No problem! Inspired by our friends out in Oregon at High Wind Farms we built this kit. Blumat systems generally operate at very low flow rates. This is an advantage over other watering systems for many reasons. However, low flow rates prevent the use of dosing systems like a Dosatron because they have minimum flow rate requirements to operate properly. By placing the Dosatron between a high flow pump and a pressure accumulator tank, the issue is solved. The pressure switch on the pump turns itself on and off as pressure levels in the accumulator tank drop. This creates bursts of high flow through the Dosatron at appropriate flow rate levels. The tank fills with nutrient mix and feeds itself through a pressure reducer into the Blumat system, maintaining constant pressure. Nutrient solution is then available to plants as they need it, 24 hours per day. This kit uses the Dosatron D8RE2. This is fertilizer injector has a variable uptake range from 0.2%-2%. While more expensive than a standard model it allows for versatility and adaptability in your nutrient program.
