Gravity BluSoak Drip Tape is a porous, continuous-emitting tape designed for gravity-fed Blumat irrigation systems. Water moves slowly through micropores along the entire surface of the tape, providing gentle, even hydration across raised beds, garden beds, and large containers. For gravity-fed systems using an elevated reservoir. Do not use with a 7.25 PSI or 15 PSI pressure reducer; excessive pressure can damage the white porous tape. Previously called BluSoak 2.0. The product has not changed—only the name has been simplified to make pressure compatibility clearer. A Blumat sensor, fittings, supply line, and water-source connection are sold separately. How It Works Gravity BluSoak expands the watering area controlled by a Tropf Blumat sensor. As the soil dries, the sensor opens and allows water into the tape. Water then seeps slowly through the porous material along the full run. When the target soil moisture is restored, the sensor closes automatically. The slow output supports deep, uniform hydration while reducing runoff and evaporation, especially when the tape is installed beneath mulch.
