BUILD IT YOURSELF
Grow Ops
This page is a tool to help you design the ideal Blumat irrigation system for your grow — whether you're watering a few pots in a tent or scaling up to a commercial facility. Every Blumat system is built from the same core components, and this guide walks you through each one.
Just follow the four steps below to choose your water source, layout your supply line, select the right components for your containers, and finish with optional moisture monitoring. With the right combination, you can build a custom system that fits your exact space, scale, and growing style.

STEP 1: WHAT'S YOUR WATER SOURCE?
Blumats need some water pressure. Pick one of the options below that works best for you.
GRAVITY TANK
A raised reservoir (like a bucket or barrel) provides just enough pressure — as little as 3 feet of elevation is all you need to run Blumats reliably. Simple, off-grid, and highly effective. Elevate one of our pre-made bucket kits or use your own reservoir with our Bulkhead fittings
Spigot + Pressure Reducer
Connects to a hose bib and automatically steps pressure down to Blumat-safe levels. (Not recommended for indoor use without floor drain.)
PUMP KITS
Want to use a reservoir but can't get enough gravity pressure? Use these handy, complete pump kits to pressurize your system.
If using less than 50 gallons/day
If using up to 250 gallons/day
STEP 2: CHOOSE YOUR SUPPLY LINE
Your water source connects to either a single supply line or a multi-zone trunk line. Start by choosing how many zones you need and then sellect the appropriate zone size.
STEP 3: CHOOSE A IRRIGATION METHOD FOR YOUR CONTAINER TYPE
Next, select the type of growing container you're using and how water will be distributed. Add the products here, adjust the quantities in your shopping cart later.
The below images are to help you decide which DISTRIBUTION METHOD to use.

DRIPPER
Point-source watering for containers.

RING
Flexible options for any setup.

BLUSOAK TAPE
BluSoak Tape: Evenly wets beds or rows.
STEP 4: MONITOR YOUR MOISTURE
These tools take the guesswork out of watering by giving you real-time insight into soil moisture.
