Build a fully self-sustaining irrigation system — no pumps, no timers, no electricity.
These systems are gravity-fed and plant-responsive, delivering water only when it’s needed. Designed for off-grid gardens, patios, and raised beds, this system installs easily, conserves water, works with rain barrels, and helps eliminate over- and under-watering.
Step 1: Select The Size and Number Of Inline Blumat Classics
These subsurface watering stakes respond to soil dryness and deliver water directly to the root zone. Planted into the soil, each unit draws moisture from the reservoir. Use the Classic for small to medium pots, the XL for larger containers, or mix and match multiple units for big pots and raised beds.
Step 2: Choose Supply Line Tubing and Fittings
Based on your configuration, select enough 8mm tubing, Tees and Shut-Offs to access the garden area you're creating. Use Tee connections to branch the line. Install shut off valves at the end of each line to terminate runs and purge air when necessary.
Step 3: Select a Water Source Options
Choose your reservoir setup to complete the system. Use our 8mm bulkhead fitting to convert any container or rain barrel, or select one of our pre-drilled 5-gallon bucket kits. All options connect directly to the 8mm supply tubing.
