BluSoak 3.0 is a low-flow, emitter-style drip tape designed to pair perfectly with Blumat sensors. With 6-inch emitter spacing, it delivers deep, even hydration and excellent wicking throughout the soil. Operating best between 10–15 PSI, BluSoak 3.0 is the ideal choice for pressurized Blumat setups using a 1-bar pressure reducer or adjustable pressure reducer. It’s not intended for gravity systems, but in any pump-driven or city-water installation, it provides unmatched consistency and control. BluSoak 3.0 is a one-to-one retrofit replacement for the original white BluSoak 2.0 tape and has quickly become the favorite among commercial cultivators for its clog-resistant design, superior uniformity, and excellent value. Always cut directly through an emitter to maintain proper performance. Make sure all Perma-Loc fittings are tightened fully to prevent leaks.For best results, use a pair of pliers or channel-Locks to hold the black body of the fitting steady, then use your hand to tighten the green collar until snug — this method typically gives you an extra ¼ turn versus hand-tightening alone. Even small leaks reduce system pressure and flow where it matters most, which can lead to inconsistent watering and poor Blumat performance.

BluSoak 1.0 Drip Tape
Planning to run your line in loops rather than straight sections? Planning to put pots on top of it or burying it with potentially compacted soil on top? BluSoak 1.0 has an inner half-round line that makes it more flexible and also lets water flow through when a heavy weight on top. BluSoak 2.0 lets more water out with low pressures so we normally use it with Blumat-controlled systems for high water use plants.

BluSoak to 8mm Barbed Adapter
Description Convenient fitting to attach BluSoak to 8mm Supply tubing. Simply lock the tape in by inserting it into the adapter, and twist the blue part clockwise to lock in the tape. This is the same fitting we use to connect our BluSoak drip tape to our 3mm line, but instead only features the one fitting so you can attach the BluSoak drip tape to the 8mm tubing directly. Same adapter used for our BluSoak Systems, as well as our EasySoak Systems.

BluSoak Drip Tape End/Flush Plug
Description Use this convenient end plug to put an end to your BluSoak soaker hose/drip tape line. Alternatively you can knot the end of your BluSoak, but this is a much easier, better looking, and more efficient method to putting an end to the drip tape.

BluSoak Drip Tape to 3mm Blumat Adapter
Description Connect your Blu Carrot Soaker Hose to a 3mm Blumat line quickly and easily with this adapter. This allows you to connect a Blumat sensor to your BluSoak 2.0 Drip Tape to allow it to detect when the soil is wet enough, and stop feeding the BluSoak with water. When the soil dries near the carrots, then the Blumat carrot (sensor) will begin to feed water back in to the BluSoak line. If the BluSoak isn't close enough to the sensor, make sure to use a distribution dripper (IG15557) in between the sensor and this fitting (example picture shown in third image). BluSoak Manometer Adjustment Set-up
Description Manometers (IG16217): Use this manometer at the end of your water supply lines in gravity systems to make sure there is enough pressure and to adjust carrots for maximum flow rate. Water should go up 4'-5' in the clear tube with carrots all the way open. (Then adjust down to normal setting.) This can also help adjust Blumat sensors in pressurized systems but shouldn't be needed if the BluSoak Flow controllers are installed. Installation Instructions: Attach IG16217 Measuring tool to the end of your water supply line. If with a good valve (globe valves hardest to find but work the best) you can adjust the water level in the tube until it's 2-3' up. At that point, the soaker hose when on will use about 1/4 gallon per foot per 24 hours. The amount of water is in the same ratio as the water level - e.g. if you double the height, you will double the water flow. BluSoak Flush Valve / BluSoak Drip Tape to 1/2" MPT - BluSoak to PVC Connection
Description Connect your BluSoak directly to a 1/2" Male Pipe Thread. Comes with a Valve that allows you to stop water flow. These also work great for putting at the end of your BluSoak line as a flush line, simply open the valve to purge water/air out. Use our 3/4" FHT to 1/2" MPT fittings (IG15620) and connect it directly to your hose.
