High-Pressure BluSoak Drip Tape is a low-flow, emitter-style tape designed specifically for pressurized Blumat irrigation systems. Its 6-inch emitter spacing promotes continuous lateral wicking and even moisture distribution throughout raised beds and large containers. Operating range: 10–15 PSI. Not compatible with gravity-fed systems. Previously called BluSoak 3.0. The product has not changed—only the name has been simplified to make pressure compatibility clearer. How It Performs When operated between 10 and 15 PSI, High-Pressure BluSoak provides predictable hydration throughout the root zone: Even watering with fewer dry areas Minimal runoff when properly installed Consistent performance across the full tape run Low flow that allows the Blumat sensor to regulate moisture accurately Available Lengths 10 ft 20 ft 40 ft 100 ft Installation Notes Cut directly through an emitter, not between emitters. Cutting between emitters can interrupt the intended spacing and create an unusable section. Position the first emitter approximately 6 inches from the fitting. Fully tighten all tape fittings. Hold the fitting body with pliers or channel locks and tighten the collar securely. Purge the supply line and confirm full finished-system pressure before calibrating or adjusting the Blumat sensor. Even a small leak can reduce pressure and cause inconsistent watering. Frequently Asked QuestionsWhich water source should I use? Use a hose bib or pump regulated to 10–15 PSI. Choose a Blumat-compatible 15 PSI reducer or an adjustable reducer set within that range. A 7.25 PSI reducer does not provide enough pressure. What is sold separately? This listing is tape only. Sensors, fittings, supply tubing, and water-source components are sold separately. Is this the same tape as BluSoak 3.0? Yes. BluSoak 3.0 is now High-Pressure BluSoak. BluSoak to 8mm Barbed Adapter
Description Convenient fitting to attach BluSoak to 8mm Supply tubing. Simply lock the tape in by inserting it into the adapter, and twist the blue part clockwise to lock in the tape. This is the same fitting we use to connect our BluSoak drip tape to our 3mm line, but instead only features the one fitting so you can attach the BluSoak drip tape to the 8mm tubing directly. BluSoak Drip Tape to 3mm Blumat Adapter
Description Connect your Blu Carrot Soaker Hose to a 3mm Blumat line quickly and easily with this adapter. This allows you to connect a Blumat sensor to your BluSoak 2.0 Drip Tape to allow it to detect when the soil is wet enough, and stop feeding the BluSoak with water. When the soil dries near the carrots, then the Blumat carrot (sensor) will begin to feed water back in to the BluSoak line. If the BluSoak isn't close enough to the sensor, make sure to use a distribution dripper (IG15557) in between the sensor and this fitting (example picture shown in third image).
