This Trunk Line Kit is the foundation of a flexible, expandable irrigation system—perfect for larger gardens or complex layouts with multiple zones. Available in either 50 feet or 100 feet of durable ½-inch poly tubing, this kit allows you to deliver water from your source—whether it’s a raised reservoir or pressurized pump system—to several key locations throughout your garden.

Each kit includes up to six ½-inch to 8mm reducing tees with shutoff valves, so you can create distinct irrigation zones exactly where you need them. From there, you’ll connect 8mm Bluemat Superflex tubing to complete your system using one of our 8mm Supply Kits (sold separately), which include the tubing and shutoffs needed to feed your individual beds or rows.

This kit keeps things simple and scalable:

  • Start with a central trunk line (main line)

  • Branch off to each zone head using reducing tees with shutoffs

Pressure reducers connect directly to your hose bib and deliver the correct water pressure for your irrigation system.

***Only Blumat-compatible pressure reducers should be used with this system. Standard reducers are often designed for timed irrigation and will not provide the stable pressure required for proper Blumat performance***

Blumat systems need low pressure, much less than comes from normal house water connections. The blumat Pressure Reducer allows for easy integration of a municipal (or otherwise pressurized line, such as from a well) water line into a blumat, blusoak, or easysoak watering system.

BEWARE IMPOSTERS! Many pressure reducers are not real pressure reducers at all, but are merely flow controllers, and reduce flow rates. However, reduced flow rates DO NOT necessarily correlate to reduced pressures. This is a true pressure reducer, and will reduce any incoming water (with a maximum pressure input of 87PSi) down to a 15PSi (1 bar) output. This is ideally suited and low enough for blumat systems and their components. Higher pressure will push tubing connections apart, and increase likelihood of flooding. This pressure reducer is extremely easy to use. The input side screws onto a standard 3/4" hose bibb or hose threading, often found on taps outside the home, or even faucets inside the home. The output side (featured with collar) is ideally suited for 8mm tubing (I suggest using our super-flex tubing). This is the size that integrates directly with tropf blumats. This adaptation makes setting up a blumat system from a hose or pressurized line an absolute breeze, and you can install your blumats in seconds.

Blumat systems need low pressure, much less than comes from normal house water connections. Some of our kits include one of these but if you'd like to install the other ones or the separate components to a home water system, you'll need one of these Pressure Reducers.

In gravity systems you'll also need one if your storage tank is high uphill. In Grow Rooms and Greenhouses with a reservoir for mixing nutrients, you can connect a small pressure pump to this and automatically feed your plants when you water. On one side it adapts to a 3/4" male hose thread and on the other directly to the Blumat 8 mm supply tube. Maximum input pressure is 87 psi.

This Adjustable Pressure Reducer gives you full control over your Blumat system pressure—ideal for consistent performance and the flexibility to fine-tune your setup.

It includes a 0–30 PSI pressure gauge, so you always know exactly what your system is running. This is one of the most important numbers to know in a Blumat setup, essential for troubleshooting and dialing in optimal performance.

With a high flow rate of over 5 gallons per minute, this reducer can replace six or more standard Blumat pressure reducers. It’s powerful enough for the largest systems, yet adjustable and precise enough to use with small, single-zone setups as well.

The pressure can be set anywhere from 2–14 PSI, allowing you to match system pressure to your specific needs. Different distribution methods (drippers, drip rings, BluSoak) and sensor counts may benefit from different pressure settings, and this reducer gives you the control to optimize performance.

Pressure is adjusted by turning the black collar:

  • Left (counterclockwise) = less pressure

  • Right (clockwise) = more pressure

Connections & Adapters:
The reducer body has a ½" male pipe thread (MPT) inlet and a ¾" female pipe thread (FPT) outlet. Included adapters make it easy to install:

Description

These are the highest quality grade fabric pots in the market. Fabric pots keep your soil cooler than clay or plastic because of the breathability of the fabric. These pots will keep your roots cooler where traditional pots can't.

Grassroot Fabric Pots contain MoistureLock Technology. A strip of BPA-free waterproof fabric is sewn to the inside of the container, which helps plant health because of great drainage. A triple hem on top for added strength

These pots allow water to move downward, which helps to avoid dry pockets in the soil. Regular fabric pots dry from the sides, MoistureLock prevents that, simulating the way soil dries in nature. The bottom seam is sewn on the outside with marine-bonded thread to prevent rot.

There is less surface area for water to escape the container, which means less water usage (lower labor) and lower humidity indoors. Because of the fabric of these pots, aeration and air pruning comes from the strip of breathable fabric towards the bottom of the container.
