In a nutshell, The Tropf (tropf is Austrian for drip) Blumat has become the ideal watering method for growing in greenhouses, for indoor gardening, on decks and in planter boxes, as well as for certain kinds of outdoor plants. It's the evolution of drip irrigation.

Description Use these to end a Blumat distribution line. The regular distribution drippers have barbs on both sides so you need a way to end them without water dripping out too fast. You can do that with an end cap (IG15509) or with one of these. They are less expensive than the standard drippers and much easier to take on and off than the end caps. The end caps often need pliers to remove but they just pull on and off.

Description Each Tropf Blumat can control 5 of these distribution drippers and saturate a 40" length - either in a row or around a large plant. In a pressure system, by adjusting the black screw, it's possible to do more than 5 but with a gravity system, usually better to stay with 2-3. If your plants and conditions are the same, you can also put one Tropf Blumat in the first pot with one distribution dripper and one or two in each plant after that. One customer reported doing this successfully with 25 distribution drippers running off just one Blumat sensor.

Description An easy way to connect and disconnect Blumat sensor carrots from a drip system or main line. Just an easy half-turn on and off. We have these in almost any configuration: from 3mm to 3mm, from 3mm to 1/8," from 3mm to 1/4," from 3mm to 8mm. These come as a reducer or from the same size to the same size. We also have these with auto stops so that when you disconnect them, the water flow automatically stops.
