Description This quick connect/disconnect for the Blumat 3 mm tube makes a fast, easy, and water tight connection for our 3 mm tubing. It makes it very easy to change your system, move inside or outside, change to a different part of your greenhouse or garden when you harvest older plants and start new ones. You can even change from a low flow system when plants are young to a high flow one when they're bigger and need more water. This particular product is the professional quick connect, built for industrial use. It does not feature the water-stop technology so once disconnected, water will flow out of the fitting if your water source is still connected. We have versions that are blue in color that feature the water flow stop when disconnected, meaning no water will pass through the fitting when disconnected.

Description With the small Blumat kit and 12 carrots or with the XL kit and 40 in a pressure system, the 8 mm Blumat tubing works great. But when you start doing something much larger than that, you may want to start using 1/2" or 3/4" drip tube line. These 3 mm transfer barbs make it easy to do that. Just puch a small hole in your main line (see our Universal Hole Punch) and put one of these in between your Blumat 3 mm line and your main supply pipe. And if you really want to make it convenient, add the 3 mm Quick Connect or better still the 3 mm Quick Connect with auto stop.

Description To attach 8 mm Blumat water supply line to a rain barrel or water storage tank. This is your classic bulkhead fitting, made in Austria, high quality and efficient for a Blumat System. Bulkhead fittings allow you to penetrate through a wall or barrier, while allowing passage within the fitting. This allow you to tap into a tank of water, while allowing water to pass-through the bulkhead fitting, and into a water supply line. Description If you're growing outside in a windy area or for any reason want to make sure your drippers don't move, these stakes will help. And good for making the tubing stay where you want it when you're making big curves - they fit both the distribution drippers and the 8 mm tubing. AUSTRIAN-MADE - Leave it to the Austrians to design and engineer such a foolproof device! These shut-off (or on/off) valves from Blumat brand are the quarter-turn valves you've been looking for! These valves are ideal for blumat watering systems. They can be installed in-line in any 8mm tubing, but we recommend super-flex. Simply remove the collar, and place the collar over the 8mm tubing. Then slide the tubing over the 8mm barb, screw on the threaded collar, and you are in a perfect position to irrigate your plants! These can be used to turn on/off water supply to your entire garden, or just branches of your garden (or even individual plants, plant rows, etc.--your imagination is the limit!). PLOT TWIST: These blumat fittings can also be used as purge valves. A purge valve is used to remove air, particulate matter, or other debris from a water supply line. This can be accomplished in two different ways. One is simply by concluding an 8mm tubing or line with one of these valves. The valve will remain closed 99% of the time, but should be opened if air/debris is suspected in the tubing. The air and/or debris will flow out of the tubing when the valve is opened. The second way to install a purge valve in a blumat watering system is by cutting in the middle of a "loop" design, installing a 3-way 8mm Tee fitting, and installing one of these valves on the open-end of the tee. Simply open the valve to "purge" or clear your lines.
