This product is a "save a trip to the hardware store", you may be able to find 5/8" tubing cheaper but we have decided to add it to our website out of convenience. This is an extremely high quality 5/8" braided flex tubing that is transparent in design and made to be Food Grade and NSF compliant. Use this flexible tubing to easily run you water into your Blumat system. We normally use it only to run water into our pump systems, but these can be used in the same way any water supply line is run.

Description Blumat systems can adjust to any plant type or desired moisture level. This specific kit comes with 5" carrots, which are better for smaller potted plants (10 gallons at most). If you have large plants (10+ gallon pots), we recommend using 9" carrots, or Maxis, to get water deep into the soil. Automatically water a 4' x 8' raised bed with just a rain barrel or water reservoir (water reservoir not included; see our reservoirs here). Kit includes Blumat carrots for big plants in half the space and small, row crops in the other half - 4 x 4' for things like tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, squash and 4 x 4' for things that grow closer together like carrots, lettuce, radish. Increase your yields and decrease grow times. Our fully-automatic, self-watering systems save time, water, and nutrients - and still ensure healthier, more potent, and faster-growing crops. This kit includes eight, 5" carrots and all the parts required for a gravity-fed system. Reservoirs should be at least 3' above ground-level. If your reservoir does not have a thru-hull installed, you will have to drill a hole into your reservoir bucket and install a thru-hull piece. For our customers' convenience, we also sell 5-gallon reservoirs with thru-hulls already installed. Description This is the tubing used to connect Blumat components to your water source. It's an 8 mm European style. You can also use US-style 5/16" drip tube but it's hard to find, not very flexible, and the fittings are harder to put in. Buying these larger rolls saves about 15%.

Description Convenient fitting to attach BluSoak to 8mm Supply tubing. Simply lock the tape in by inserting it into the adapter, and twist the blue part clockwise to lock in the tape. This is the same fitting we use to connect our BluSoak drip tape to our 3mm line, but instead only features the one fitting so you can attach the BluSoak drip tape to the 8mm tubing directly.
