This living soil raised bed kit is made by Grassroots Fabric pots, and is complete with their moisture-lock plastic lining to ensure moisture makes its way into your bed--no more run-off from hydrophobic soil/media! If you don't see a size that will work for you, submit a custom order request and we'll take care of you!
Our raised beds come with PVC fittings. All you'll need to do is get 1" PVC to complete the setup.
These beds generally will hold up 3-5 years in an outdoor setting, or 5-8 years in an indoor setting.

Assembling your 3 x 6 raised bed + double trellis: Not included - you will need to purchase the following 1" PVC pipe lengths separately: Six 16.75 inch lengths Twenty 33.5 inch lengths Six equal lengths of your choice for the first trellis Six equal lengths of your choice for the second trellis
This equals 770.5 inches, or rounds up to 65 feet total of 1" PVC pipe before the double trellis. Add 6 x (desired 1st trellis height) + 6 x (desired 2nd trellis height) for total PVC pipe needed. Midrange BluSoak Kit: This kit provides an easy, fast, and water-saving way to water a 3' by 6' raised bed or garden bed. No timers, batteries, or electricity required! This system utilizes a Blumat carrot (sensor) to automatically water and monitor the moisture levels in your garden soil. BluSoak tape allows for even water distribution throughout. When coupled together with Blumat carrots, BluSoak hose only delivers water to your veggies when they need it, which promotes exponential growth and impressive yields. You can also leave your BluSoak tape under your garden all winter, no problem. Water source needs to be 6-10' above the garden for a gravity system. For a pressure system running off a faucet or garden hose, simply add a Blumat Pressure Reducer. Description
The ideal kit setup for a 3ft by 6ft raised bed system! Neatly irrigate your garden bed with a manifold of three rows of BluSoak drip tape. This kit contains a single 9” Maxi Blumat. This allows for a dryback between irrigation events, a desired approach by some growers.

How it works
The Tropf Blumat self-watering system functions automatically, without the need for timers. Each Blumat is both a sensor, a valve. and a dripper. As the soil dries, suction pulls open the valve within the blumat, allowing the flow of water through the 3mm tubing. As the soil reaches the desired moisture content, the suction is released, closing the valve. Each Tropf blumat waters completely independently. Therefore the plants are watered individually, naturally accounting for changes in the environment.
