An easy and economical way to  automate a Blumat and/or BluSoak system. Just attach this to a 24/7 garden hose and gravity will take care of the rest.  For small systems, this is a simple way of controlling your pressure without needing an expensive pressure regulator - just make the reservoir higher for more water, lower for less.  The included fittings give you a choice of connecting to your water supply line with either a 1/2" male pipe thread or a 3/4" FHTIf your water source has over 50 psi pressure, add this (or similar) high quality but inexpensive pressure reducer: IG16309.

This is an extremely high quality 5/8" braided flex tubing that is transparent in design and made to be Food Grade and NSF compliant. Use this flexible tubing to easily run you water into your Blumat system. We normally use it only to run water into our pump systems, but these can be used in the same way any water supply line is run.

Build your own rainwater catchment reservoir with this 16" strainer and with a bulkhead fitting, quickly set-up your own rainwater irrigation system. Unlike our 5 gallon version that fits on almost all 5 gallon buckets, these fit some, but not all 55 gallon drums. If the opening on your barrel has a hole on the top bigger than 16"  you'll need to either cut a circle for it in the top you have, or in something else that will cover the rest of the reservoir's top -- and you can use these same methods with for almost any size reservoir.
