Growers set up Blumat systems in many different situations with various kinds and sizes of supply line. These fittings and reducers allow you to customize an automated system in nearly any circumstance. Blumat systems come from Europe so most of the fittings are designed for European tubing measured in millimeters. Since people in the USA don't have good access to these diameters and thread sizes, it can be almost impossible to adapt a Blumats to a conventional drip or gardening system. Until now! We've found and assembled many different fittings to make this process easy. We can also special order these fittings in many different configurations and for many different pipe sizes. Fittings and Reducers
3/4" MPT x 3/4" MHT or 1/2" FPT Fitting - Adapt to Garden Hose or Pressure Reducer
Description A very versatile adapter! On one side it has 3/4" MHT (male hose thread) and 1/2" FPT, on the other 3/4" MPT (male pipe thread). These are handy for many situations including adapting the input for a Blumat Pressure reducer from the 3/4" hose thread it comes with to 1/2" pipe thread.

Perma-Loc 1/2" x 3/4" MHT End Cap

8mm Quick Connect Fittings w/ Stop/Plug
Description Quick Disconnect - Connect Fittings for Blumat 8mm supply tubing. An easy and inexpensive way to be able to connect/disconnect your main 3mm small Blumat tubing with just one quick rotation. Includes a quick connect female fitting, male fitting, and plug to connect to the male fittings so you can stop water from exiting the line. Buy an On/Off Valve to be able to turn off/on incoming water supply, valve sold separately (IG15936). Or buy the more expensive Professional Quick Connects for the quickest and most efficient way to disconnect your water line while being able to stop the flow of water from both input and/or output. This makes it easy to bring the cone "carrots" in during the winter.

Blumat 3mm 4-way Cross
Description Make cross connections in 3mm line. You can use these to send distribution drippers in different directions rather than in a straight line. You can also use them as a more economical distribution method instead of using the drippers. Just cut equal lenghts of 3mm tubing and spread them around. This requires more maintenance because roots can grow into the tubing but it does save some dollars. This would be our "Economy" design suggestion. The "Mid-Range" version would use the drippers and the "Deluxe" suggestion would be to use more Blumat carrots. This is more expensive but gives you redundancy rather than having all the eggs in one basket.

8mm BULKHEAD / Through-Hull Tank Connector - 6 Pack
Description 6 Blumat Thru-Hull Tank Connectors to attach 8 mm Blumat water supply line to a rain barrel or water storage tank. This is your classic bulkhead fitting, made in Austria, high quality and efficient for a Blumat System. Bulkhead fittings allow you to penetrate through a wall or barrier, while allowing passage within the fitting. This allow you to tap into a tank of water, while allowing water to pass-through the bulkhead fitting, and into a water supply line. 8mm Professional Quick Connect, Stop on Both Sides
Description Disconnect and reconnect 8mm lines quickly and easily without wasting any water either! The stop on either end of the Quick Connect keeps any water from coming out of the lines, and air from going in. This is great for being able to connect several different independent water supply lines.

Blumat 3mm mini-hose union
Description With the small Blumat kit and 12 carrots or with the XL kit and 40 in a pressure system, the 8 mm Blumat tubing works great. But when you start doing something much larger than that, you may want to start using 1/2" or 3/4" drip tube line. These 3 mm transfer barbs make it easy to do that. Just puch a small hole in your main line (see our Universal Hole Punch) and put one of these in between your Blumat 3 mm line and your main supply pipe. And if you really want to make it convenient, add the 3 mm Quick Connect or better still the 3 mm Quick Connect with auto stop.
