Gravity irrigation works great but has challenges when systems expand or ceilings aren't high enough. Most pressuring systems get expensive and complicated. This new kit solves those problems, keeps the cost and learning curve down, and lets you leave without worry for longer times!

Use this kit for up to 50 gallons per day, our Horizontal Pump Kit if you need up to 250 gallons a day.

What This Kit Does Not Include

• Supply Tubing for your Blumat system.
• A reservoir.
• A drill bit to install our bulkhead into the reservoir. ( A step up bit is preferable)

What This Kit Includes

The pump kit includes all fittings needed to get from your chosen supply tank to the supply tubing portion for your Blumat system. This kit also includes our adjustable pressure reducer, two pressure gauges, a 3 gpm pump, a small filter, and 2 gallon pressure tank. 

This Adjustable Pressure Reducer gives you full control over your Blumat system pressure—ideal for consistent performance and the flexibility to fine-tune your setup.

It includes a 0–30 PSI pressure gauge, so you always know exactly what your system is running. This is one of the most important numbers to know in a Blumat setup, essential for troubleshooting and dialing in optimal performance.

With a high flow rate of over 5 gallons per minute, this reducer can replace six or more standard Blumat pressure reducers. It’s powerful enough for the largest systems, yet adjustable and precise enough to use with small, single-zone setups as well.

The pressure can be set anywhere from 2–14 PSI, allowing you to match system pressure to your specific needs. Different distribution methods (drippers, drip rings, BluSoak) and sensor counts may benefit from different pressure settings, and this reducer gives you the control to optimize performance.

Pressure is adjusted by turning the black collar:

• Left (counterclockwise) = less pressure

• Right (clockwise) = more pressure

Connections & Adapters:
The reducer body has a ½" male pipe thread (MPT) inlet and a ¾" female pipe thread (FPT) outlet. Included adapters make it easy to install:

• Input: Adapts to ¾" female hose thread (FHT) for standard garden hoses or hose bibs

• Output:

  • ½" Perma-Loc fitting (for Trunk Line Kits)

  • 8mm barb adapter (for Supply Line Kits with Superflex tubing)

Take the guesswork out of dialing in your Blumat system with the new Preset Tropf Blumat Sensors. These upgraded sensors offer fast, reliable setup with no soil calibration required. Whether your soil is too wet or too dry at the start, the preset sensors will automatically bring it to the proper moisture level—delaying watering if it's already moist, or starting immediately if it's dry.

Each sensor is hand-marked in our Colorado warehouse with two color-coded reference points:

• Gold – for low-pressure systems like gravity setups

• Silver – for high-pressure systems like hose bibs or pump kits
  For medium-pressure systems, simply adjust between the two marks.

Still Fully Adjustable: Use the included adjustment key through the top access port to fine-tune your setting anytime. Once set, the sensor provides consistent, plant-driven irrigation tailored to your system's pressure—without the trial and error of older models.

We designed this watering kit for backyard gardeners without much time, without a green thumb, and without a lot of extra dollars to spend. Much more simple and easy to install than a typical drip system, it can still provide much more consistent and reliable irrigation. Another unique advantage over normal drip systems is that this one doesn’t require pressure – instead, it siphons. This makes it ideal for rainwater collection systems as well as for watering plants or trees far removed from water lines.  

This base kit is adaptable and expandable in many different ways. It includes a bulkhead fitting you can use to attach to almost any water container. You can also order a 5-gallon one from us and also add on a rain collection screen. You can add more of either the small or large Classics, a filter screen, a water level indicator, or more supply line. You could also add a pressure reducer and float valve to make this into an automatically instead of manually filled system. 

Almost all drip kits for backyard gardening require timers, water pressure, and pressure reducers. You have to guess how much water the plants need; and, as the season progresses, the plants get bigger and the temperature gets warmer, your guesses mismatch more and more. The plants cycle between drowning and drying out too much.

This kit solves those problems. With a much lower learning curve, it automatically waters your plants without needing electricity, a timer, or even water pressure. Less expensive and easier to install, much less can go wrong. The ollas-inspired cones provide more water when the soil dries, less when it has lots of water.

Notes

• The top of the meter is not waterproof. Do not submerge or expose it to standing water.

• Protective cap should not be seated directly into soil, as trapped humidity can damage the sensor.

Not as elegant as our Glass Globe version and doesn't give out as much water; but, this one costs less than half as much and can really help your plants. Depending on temperature, potting mix and plant type; it typically goes about 5 days before needing to be filled up again. 

These water slowly and the slower you water, the deeper the water goes, the deeper the roots go, and  the more access plants have to moisture and nutrients. The stronger and more healthy they become and the more resistant to under-watering, over-watering, and to pests. 

BluSoak 3.0 is a low-flow, emitter-style drip tape designed to pair perfectly with Blumat sensors. With 6-inch emitter spacing, it delivers deep, even hydration and excellent wicking throughout the soil. 

Operating best between 10–15 PSI, BluSoak 3.0 is the ideal choice for pressurized Blumat setups using a 1-bar pressure reducer or adjustable pressure reducer. It’s not intended for gravity systems, but in any pump-driven or city-water installation, it provides unmatched consistency and control.

BluSoak 3.0 is a one-to-one retrofit replacement for the original white BluSoak 2.0 tape and has quickly become the favorite among commercial cultivators for its clog-resistant design, superior uniformity, and excellent value.
