High-Pressure BluSoak Raised Bed Kits pair a preset 9" Blumat sensor with ultra-low-flow, emitter-style High-Pressure BluSoak drip tape. The 6-inch emitter spacing promotes continuous lateral wicking and uniform moisture across raised beds and large containers.
Designed exclusively for pressurized installations operating between 10 and 15 PSI. These kits require a regulated hose bib or pump system and will not operate correctly from gravity pressure.
Formerly described as BluSoak 3.0 high-pressure kits. The removable straight-line layout makes the system easy to lift out, amend beneath, and reinstall between cycles.
Pressure & Water Source Requirements ＋
- Required operating pressure: 10–15 PSI
- Works with a regulated hose bib, municipal supply, or pump system
- Use a 1-bar (15 PSI) reducer or an adjustable pressure reducer set within the operating range
- Not compatible with gravity-fed systems
The pump, hose connection, pressure reducer, and main supply line are not included.

What You'll Also Need ＋
This kit covers the irrigation components inside the bed. To complete the system, you will also need:
- An 8mm supply line running from the water source to the Blumat sensor
- A pressurized water source such as a hose bib or pump
- A compatible pressure reducer set between 10 and 15 PSI

How It Works ＋
The preset Blumat sensor responds continuously to soil moisture and controls water flow into the tape. As the bed dries, the sensor opens. When the target moisture level is restored, it closes automatically.
High-Pressure BluSoak releases water from closely spaced emitters. At 10–15 PSI, the low flow rate and 6-inch spacing create stable, predictable moisture distribution without relying on a timer.
Installation Notes ＋
- Cut the tape directly through an emitter, not between emitters.
- Position the first emitter approximately 6 inches from the fitting.
- Fully tighten all tape fittings; even small leaks can reduce pressure and cause uneven performance.
- Purge the supply line and confirm full finished-system pressure before calibrating or adjusting the sensor.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which water source should I use?
Use a hose bib or pump regulated to 10–15 PSI. Choose a Blumat-compatible 15 PSI reducer or an adjustable reducer set within that range. A 7.25 PSI reducer does not provide enough pressure.
What is sold separately?
The water source and main supply line are sold separately. High-pressure installations also require a compatible pressure reducer.
Is this the same tape as BluSoak 3.0?
Yes. BluSoak 3.0 is now High-Pressure BluSoak. The new name clarifies which water setup to use.
