Flush System for Blumats
Description Our flush systems allow you to flush your plants, a necessary process for those adding nutrients into their system. Flushing removes excess nutrients and debris from from your supply line. You can also use a flush system to add thick nutrients and teas without clogging your Blumat sensors. Our flush valve has 4 settings: all closed, all open, one direction open, and the opposite direction open. Blumats won't allow water to flow until your potting soil dries up, which means the supply line gets flushed, not your soil. When adding thick nutrients or teas, simply turn the Blumat side off, letting the mix flow solely through the flush stake. When cleaning your lines, simply leave both sides open. This system includes everything except for a Blumat sensor: a valve, adapter fittings, tubing, and drip stake. Quick Connect Reducer - 3mm to 1/4" (.170 ID) -- for Blumat Systems
Description An easy way to connect and disconnect Blumat sensor carrots from a drip system or main line. Just an easy half-turn on and off. We have these in almost any configuration: from 3mm to 3mm, from 3mm to 1/8," from 3mm to 1/4," from 3mm to 8mm. These come as a reducer or from the same size to the same size. We also have these with auto stops so that when you disconnect them, the water flow automatically stops. This is very handy when you want to bring a system inside for the winter, change to a different location, if you harvest a plant(s) and want to stop the water flow, or if you want to change from a low flow to a high flow set up as a plant gets larger.

Pressure Reducer, 1.3 bar (19 psi)
This a pressure reducer used for if you need a higher pressure due to having a longer distance going from your hose bib to your plants, or if your water supply is going up so you need a little extra pressure to bring it up vertically. Blumat systems need low pressure, much less than comes from normal house water connections. Some of our kits include a pressure reducer but if you'd like to install the other ones or the separate components to a home water system, you'll need one of these Pressure Reducers. In gravity systems you'll also need one if your storage tank is high uphill. In Grow Rooms and Greenhouses with a reservoir for mixing nutrients, you can connect a small pressure pump to this and automatically feed your plants when you water. On one side it adapts to a 3/4" male hose thread and on the other directly to the Blumat 8 mm supply tube. For BluSoak Systems, use a our 0.5bar Pressure Reducer (7psi) as our BluSoak doesn't like pressure over 10psi and can even split. Or use one of these and a flow restrictor alternatively.
