Description These are great for watering long plant beds, planter boxes, and giving large plants an even amount of water in a circle around them. They connect to a Tropf-Blumat or a Maxi.This is less expensive than adding more sensors but you may need to add a filter to your system if you use nutrients in your water so they don't clog. This comes with 4 packs. Each pack contains 10 distributors and 2 meters of (6.5 feet) of 3mm drip tubing. Two nozzles allow you to connect tubing on both sides of the dripper for up to five drip locations from one Tropf-Blumat (dripper chain). The end-distributor dripper has a drip nozzle on one side only for use as the end piece in a dripper chain. You can go as far as 100 cm (39") from the sensor with these and they water about 20 cm wide (8"). Minimum pressure to use them like this is 4.5 psi. You can go down as low as 2 psi but the last dripper or two might not put out much water. By adjusting the black screw on the top, you can use more. In pressure systems, customers report successfully using as many as 25 with just one Blumat sensor.

Your plants will love it. They won't experience the drying out that stunts growth or the over-watering that squeezes the air out of the soil and keeps them from "breathing" properly. As the soil dries, the ceramic cone delivers water gradually into the surrounding earth - thereby creating a vacuum within the cone which draws water from the nearby container of water. Once the soil is moistened the Blumat will cease flowing water. It waters your plants only as needed. You can even add fertilizer to the water supply. This slow, continual feeding encourages prolific growth. Blumat will only draw water up 12 inches (30cm). If the surface of the water in your container is lower than this, the flow of water will be restricted and the plants gradually dry out. Each Blumat has a limit on how fast it can deliver water. Several cones may be necessary for larger plants in order to meet the higher water needs. In this case, a larger reservoir of water must also be available.

This new Blumat input filter fits on the Blumat Bulkhead Through-Hull Tank Connector, inside the reservoir and keeps sediment and leaves from getting into your supply line. It doesn’t fit on the older tank connectors we had before August 2023 though. The new ones (on the right in the picture below) have two tabs on the sides and a 6-sided jut on the input side, where the old ones have two parallel lines. An inexpensive "insurance policy," this could save you quite a bit of headache if your water doesn't always stay clean.

An optional Pressure Reducer attached to garden hose or faucet can provide enough water for up to 500 Blumat Carrots (See 'Related Products'). If your reservoir does not have a thru-hull installed, you will have to drill a hole into your reservoir bucket and install a thru-hull piece. For our customers' convenience, we also sell 5-gallon reservoirs with thru-hulls already installed. As the soil dries, a vacuum and hydro-static pressure, coupled with a spring-loaded gating mechanism, pulls water from the main line. When the soil is sufficiently moist, pressures equalize, and the Tropf Blumat automatically stops taking in water. Each Blumat Outdoor Sensor in the Deck and Planter Set covers an area 12 inches in diameter. To expand and customize your own system, add additional Supply Hoses, Outdoor Sensors, and Distributor Drippers. PLEASE NOTE: Tropf Blumat systems do not include a Pressure Reducer. You will need this if you are connecting your system to a threaded spigot, such as your hose/home water supply or the spigot on a rain barrel or reservoir. Description This is an add-on to our flush systems that allows for a second medium for flushing and the addition of nutrients. This comes with configurations for 8mm supply lines, which allows for more efficient flush systems. For commercial systems (with 50 or more plants), add this line to our flush system. Our flush systems allow you to flush your plants, a necessary process for those adding nutrients into their system. Flushing removes excess nutrients and debris from from your supply line. You can also use a flush system to add thick nutrients and teas without clogging your Blumat sensors. Our flush valve has 4 settings: all closed, all open, one direction open, and the opposite direction open. Easily: Flush your plants Add thick nutrients and teas without clogging your Blumat sensors Clean out algal and bacterial slime, as well as sediment, from your supply lines Blumats won't allow water to flow until your potting soil dries up, which means the supply line gets flushed, not your soil. When adding tick nutrient or tea, simply turn the Blumat side off, letting the mix flow solely through the flush stake. When cleaning your lines, simply leave both sides open. This system includes everything except for a Blumat sensor: a valve, adapter fittings, tubing, and drip stake.
