• 9" Sensor — Recommended for containers over 6" deep . The 9" sensor depth is adjustable, so it does not need to be buried all the way down. The Blumat sensor is a ceramic cone that reads soil moisture. As the soil dries, a vacuum builds inside the cone and pulls water through the drip line. When moisture is restored, the valve closes automatically.

Connect your sensor to any 8mm Blumat supply line running from a gravity reservoir or pressurized source. No programming, no timers, no electricity required.

No. These kits require 10–15 PSI and are designed for pressurized systems only.

Straight-line layouts are modular and easy to remove, making them ideal for growers who re-amend soil between cycles.

What makes this better than standard drip tape?
Lower flow rate and tighter emitter spacing allow for even moisture distribution and proper compatibility with Blumat sensors.

Do I need a pump?
Yes, if running from a reservoir. A pressurized source is required.

Insert the probe into your potting mix and get an instant reading in millibar (mbar). The lower the number, the wetter the soil. Use it to dial in your Blumat sensors, check moisture before watering, or track drybacks between feeds.
