Globe valves tend to be hard to find because they reduce pressure much more than gate or ball valves. That's what makes them ideal for BluSoak systems that like very low pressure. The flow restrictors do this but only work if pressure is at least 10 psi. So to keep the pressure at 3 psi and prevent flooding if a Blumat sensor valve "runs away," you can use a globe valve and manometer. Open the Blumat all the way and turn the globe valve down until water in the manometer goes up to about 7 feet.
