4-Way Valves for Blumat Flush Systems
Description This is the heart and soul of our Blumat flush systems - the 4-way valve. Rather than ordering all the extra parts and following a complex system, use this valve and customize your own. You can add several drip stakes for larger pots and use this in many different ways. This kit comes standard with fittings for 3 connections: one 3mm, one 1/4", and one 8mm for the supply line(s). NOTE: You can request different sizes or configurations for no extra charge. Our flush systems allow you to flush your plants, a necessary process for those adding nutrients into their system. Flushing removes excess nutrients and debris from from your supply line. You can also use a flush system to add thick nutrients and teas without clogging your Blumat sensors. Our flush valve has 4 settings: all closed, all open, one direction open, and the opposite direction open. Easily: Flush your plants Add thick nutrients and teas without clogging your Blumat sensors Clean out algal and bacterial slime, as well as sediment, from your supply lines Blumats won't allow water to flow until your potting soil dries up, which means the supply line gets flushed, not your soil. When adding tick nutrient or tea, simply turn the Blumat side off, letting the mix flow solely through the flush stake. When cleaning your lines, simply leave both sides open. This system includes everything except for a Blumat sensor: a valve, adapter fittings, tubing, and drip stake.

Blumat Tropf 9" Maxi Sensors - 10 Pack
The Tropf-Blumat Maxi acts as a regulator and dripper, just like the standard 5” Tropf-Blumat. This one is 9 inches long though. You put it in the ground 6 - 7.5 inches so it senses the moisture at a deeper level. This is important when your plants get bigger because the regular Blumat sensor might turn the water off too soon. This one might turn it off too soon if your plant still has surface roots. Some growers use both - especially if they are growing in coco or a hydroponic system. The Tropf-Blumat (Drip-Blumat) is a sensor that supplies plants with drips of water via thin tubing. As the soil dries, its natural suction power triggers the opening of the Tropf Blumat allowing the water to flow. When the soil is sufficiently moist, the Tropf Blumat automatically stops. The system functions fully automatically. Every plant, every container or group of plants requires at least 1 Tropf-Blumat adjusted to the individual needs of the plant. Larger containers or surfaces require longer or more than one sensor. All Tropf-Blumats are connected using one supply tube, this allows for flexibility in the layout and is changeable at any time. Automatically waters individual plants and only when needed. There are a few options for a water source; you can either connect the system directly to your hose tap or rain barrel (with fittings not supplied with this product). Blumat GmbH & Co. KG Blumat Bulkhead Filter
This new Blumat input filter fits on the Blumat Bulkhead Through-Hull Tank Connector, inside the reservoir and keeps sediment and leaves from getting into your supply line. It doesn’t fit on the older tank connectors we had before August 2023 though. The new ones (on the right in the picture below) have two tabs on the sides and a 6-sided jut on the input side, where the old ones have two parallel lines. An inexpensive "insurance policy," this could save you quite a bit of headache if your water doesn't always stay clean.
