Blumat Clear Globe Sets
Not as elegant as our Glass Globe version and doesn't give out as much water; but, this one costs less than half as much and can really help your plants. Depending on temperature, potting mix and plant type; it typically goes about 5 days before needing to be filled up again. These water slowly and the slower you water, the deeper the water goes, the deeper the roots go, and the more access plants have to moisture and nutrients. The stronger and more healthy they become and the more resistant to under-watering, over-watering, and to pests.

Excel Concept Holdings (HK) Ltd Auto fill Float Valve
A float valve that stays out of your way and doesn't so easily break or get stuck like the common ones. Instead of the arms like used in toilets, this has a float that goes up and down in a protected cylinder. When the water rises, it automatically turns off the input line. When the water gets used and the float goes down, it turns the water back on. Use with a gravity rainwater system to fill a reservoir during long times without rain, in gravity backyard systems, in tent grows, and any time you need to fill a reservoir without worrying when to turn the incoming water off — this will do that for you!

Pressure Compensating Backyard Kit
Steep ground but even watering!Most inexpensive irrigation kits require flat ground and a pressure reducer. This special dripline compensates for elevation and pressure changes and normally saves you the cost of a pressure reducer. This includes 100' of Apex Pressure Compensating drip line (12" Spacing 0.55GPH), a flushable end, and a 3/4" swivel hose thread beginning. You can cut into smaller sections, get more beginnings or endings; add a coupling (IG16744) and get another roll (IG18755) for longer lines.

Much better than the wine bottle versions because Blumats are so much easier to refill: just cut the bottom off plastic bottle and fill with your regular watering can. (No reason to go back and forth from your sink so many times.) Better than the globe spikes because these disperse the water evenly, not just through a hole in the bottom. Just fit this adapter into almost any standard plastic bottle, fill the bottle with water and push into the soil near a plant. The porous cone will slowly start to distribute water throughout the day. The regular size does about 200 milliliters (.43 pints) during a 24-hour period.
