Blumat Distribution Drippers - 50 Units & 10 caps

Plastic Pipette 7ml
Blumat set-up instructions work fine but getting the tiny air bubbles out of the cap lets you really fine tune the setting and makes the Blumat more responsive. This Pipette makes it very easy to do that. After soaking and under water, use it to squirt water into the underside of the cap- where you see the 3 white ovals. It's not a big deal and not necessary but we think this will make the Blumats respond a little more quickly to dry and wet conditions. Irrometer Low Tension (LT) Model, 12"
The IRROMETER Model LT (Low Tension) tensiometer was designed to operate in coarse sandy soils and non-soil growing media. With a range of 0-40 centibars (cb) or kilopascals (kPa), this instrument is for use in situations where tensions above 30 cb (kPa) are rarely expected. Gauge increments of 1 cb (kPa) provide a benefit where finer resolution near saturation is needed. This model instrument is also well suited for conditions where rapidly changing soil moisture conditions need to be observed. The "Quick-Flo" ceramic tip is colored blue for easy identification. Model LT IRROMETERS can be used for manual measurement and tracking of soil moisture status in coarse sandy soils and growing media. When equipped with optional electronic output and data logging equipment, measurement and tracking can be done automatically. Replacement Brown Cap for Tropf Blumat Sensor
Description This replacement brown cap is what goes on top of the Tropf Blumat sensor and is essential for the function of the Blumat carrot. This small brown cap allows you to adjust the flow rate of the Blumat, but more importantly also serves as a critical function in making sure to stop the water when the carrot senses that it is wet enough. If you lose or break this small essential piece, your Bluamt sensor will no longer serve its function so make sure to replace it with this replacement piece.

Tropf Blumat 9" Maxi - Case of 50
The Tropf-Blumat (Drip-Blumat) is a sensor that supplies plants with drips of water via thin tubing. As the soil dries, its natural suction power triggers the opening of the Tropf Blumat allowing the water to flow. When the soil is sufficiently moist, the Tropf Blumat automatically stops. The system functions fully automatically. Every plant, every container or group of plants requires at least 1 Tropf-Blumat adjusted to the individual needs of the plant. Larger containers or surfaces require longer or more than one sensor. The Tropf-Blumat Maxi acts as a regulator and dripper, just like the standard Tropf-Blumat. This one is 9 inches long though. You put it in the ground 6 - 7.5 inches so it senses the moisture at a deeper level. This is important when your plants get bigger because the regular Blumat sensor might turn the water off too soon. And this one might turn it off too soon if your plant still has surface roots. Some growers use both - especially if they are growing in coco or a hydroponic system. Note: Blumat Classics (Juniors) and bottle adapters are designed for houseplants while Tropf-Blumat Sensors (the one's with the small adjustable brown knob on top) are designed for greenhouses, growrooms, decks, and outside gardens. Blumats Austria says "Please don't use the Tropf-Blumats indoors" because if hooked up to a constant water source and a pet, guest, or user-error somehow causes a run-away, it could damage an indoor floor, drywall, carpet, or furniture. We, and many others, do in fact use these systems inside ourselves, however, we are generally around enough that if a problem did occur, we would be able to notice a problem and fix it in time (not the case if someone is on vacation). Blumat Pressure Reducer - 2 Pack

ENDURING - Made from ABS plastic and designed with few points of failure, this is built to last! BLUMAT-READY - Designed specifically for blumat watering systems and 8mm tubing, no tools necessary! AUSTRIAN-ENGINEERED - This high-quality component is designed and manufactured by clever Austrians! Blumat systems need low pressure, much less than comes from normal house water connections. The blumat Pressure Reducer allows for easy integration of a municipal (or otherwise pressurized line, such as from a well) water line into a blumat, blusoak, or easysoak watering system. BEWARE IMPOSTERS! Many pressure reducers are not real pressure reducers at all, but are merely flow controllers, and reduce flow rates. However, reduced flow rates DO NOT necessarily correlate to reduced pressures. This is a true pressure reducer, and will reduce any incoming water (with a maximum pressure input of 87PSi) down to a 15PSi (1 bar) output. This is ideally suited and low enough for blumat systems and their components. Higher pressure will push tubing connections apart, and increase likelihood of flooding. This adaptation makes setting up a blumat system from a hose or pressurized line an absolute breeze, and you can install your blumats in seconds. Blumat systems need low pressure, much less than comes from normal house water connections. Some of our kits include one of these but if you'd like to install the other ones or the separate components to a home water system, you'll need one of these Pressure Reducers. In gravity systems you'll also need one if your storage tank is high uphill. In Grow Rooms and Greenhouses with a reservoir for mixing nutrients, you can connect a small pressure pump to this and automatically feed your plants when you water. On one side it adapts to a 3/4" male hose thread and on the other directly to the Blumat 8 mm supply tube. Maximum input pressure is 87 psi.

Bottle Cap Adapter for Blumat Systems
Easily convert a used plastic bottle to a Blumat supply source. This works really well for hanging plants - both inside and outside. Just attach the plastic bottle to the hanger and put the Blumat in the soil. You can cut the bottom off the plastic bottle (you can use these cut off bottoms to make plant holders that keep wooden shelves from getting rings) and fill them from the top. If you prefer to keep the bottle intact, the water will last longer and you don't have to worry about insects getting in it but it's harder to fill. If you use the auto-stop version of this bottle cap though (IG15525), you can more easily move the bottle to fill and put back without spilling the water all over. This uses the thread type common on most one liter plastic bottles - not the same as 3/4" hose thread.

A relatively inexpensive but still high quality and easy-to-use filter. Because of the clear base, you can quickly see if it's getting dirty and you can clean it out without having to unhook your lines. Includes adapters going to 8 mm Blumat line so to install, just cut the line and push the tubing on to the adapters! If your water isn't clean or you'd like to use thick nutrients in a reservoir, this filter will keep your Blumats safe.
