This elegant Sun Mar Dry Toilet is designed for use with the waterfree Centrex 2000 AF (Air Flow) family and Centrex 3000 AF family of central composting systems. Available in either White or Bone, the Dry Toilet has a seat height of 15" and a "regular sized" toilet seat. The vent system on all AF units continuously draws air down the toilet to prevent odors in the bathroom. However, if the toilet is too high above the composter for air to be drawn down, the Dry Toilet should be vented directly. To do this, a 3" or 4" vent pipe can be installed at the rear left or rear right of the toilet, and, if necessary, a 12 Volt fan can be fitted in a section of 4" vent pipe to enhance air flow. Want to use Dosatron products with Blumats? No problem! Inspired by our friends out in Oregon at High Wind Farms we built this kit. Blumat systems generally operate at very low flow rates. This is an advantage over other watering systems for many reasons. However, low flow rates prevent the use of dosing systems like a Dosatron because they have minimum flow rate requirements to operate properly. By placing the Dosatron between a high flow pump and a pressure accumulator tank, the issue is solved.The pressure switch on the pump turns itself on and off as pressure levels in the accumulator tank drop. This creates bursts of high flow through the Dosatron at appropriate flow rate levels. The tank fills with nutrient mix and feeds itself through a pressure reducer into the Blumat system, maintaining constant pressure. Nutrient solution is then available to plants as they need it, 24 hours per day.

Description The IRROMETER Model LT (Low Tension) was designed to operate in coarse sandy soils and non-soil growing media. With a range of 0-40 centibars (cb) or kilopascals (kPa), this instrument is for use in situations where tensions above 30 cb (kPa) are rarely expected. Gauge increments of 1 cb (kPa) provide a benefit where finer resolution near saturation is needed. This model instrument is also well suited for conditions where rapidly changing soil moisture conditions need to be observed. The "Quick-Flo" ceramic tip is colored blue for easy identification. <>Model LT IRROMETERS can be used for manual measurement and tracking of soil moisture status in coarse sandy soils and growing media. When equipped with optional electronic output and data logging equipment, measurement and tracking can be done automatically. The low tension vacuum gauge on this model can be replaced with electronic measurement options, or automatic switching devices which can activate peripheral equipment at desired soil water tension levels.
