GrowStream™ Subsurface Irrigation Tape is a plant-responsive subsurface irrigation system that dynamically delivers water and nutrients based upon individual plant demand. This tube is a microporous material that retains water until flow is triggered by plant root exudates. The tubing has no emitters, but releases water along its entire surface through millions of micropores.
The tubing diameter is 0.625 in. (5/8 in.) (16 millimeters) I.D.

Recommended Operating Pressure: 1.0-3.0 psi (69-207 mbar)

This pump is ideal for larger, production-oriented cultivation facilities. This pump kit comes with all the necessary equipment and fittings to be able to pump water from a reservoir at a 3Gal Per Minute capacity. Even better, this kit includes a 15psi Pressure Reducer so that you can use it with your Blumat system and achieve a professional grow. Includes a bulkhead fitting for your reservoir, flex PVC for ease of installation, and a 14 gallon pressure tank to take some of the strain away from the pump. All the necessary fittings are included, just continue your feed line from a 1/2" barb and install a pressure reducer (also included) before your Blumats. This kit is easier to assemble and has a smaller floor footprint then our earlier pump kit models. It can easily supply water pressure to a large number of Blumat Tropfs in both commercial and home operations.

To get exactly what you want, start with this foundation kit and add on Classics based on number and size of your plants, the type of water container, and any other options you might need.For our complete version see IG18665.This starter kit includes a bulkhead fitting that will connect with the water reservoir of your choice. All that's needed is a 1/2" (12mm) borehole.
A 2 gallon water container that looks good, can water your plants for 1-3 weeks, and also prevents algae from growing. The bulkhead fitting and valve attach to 8mm supply line (IG15978, sold separately) that circulates around your plants. Any place you need watering, just cut the line with scissors, push the two ends of the tee attached to either the regular or XL Classic (order separately), and push the Classic into your potting mix. You can change the amount of water supplied by raising or lowering the jar. The handy wooden chalkboard makes it easy to record dates if you'd like to keep track of how long the water lasts.

Description
Our indoor kit features six Blumat stakes. These Blumats ensure a constant supply of water to your indoor plants. They automatically supply just the right amount -never too much or too little. Your plants won't experience any drying out that stunts growth or over-watering that squeezes the air out of the soil and keeps plants from "breathing" properly.
As the soil dries, a ceramic cone gradually delivers water into the surrounding dirt, which creates a vacuum within the cone that draws water from a nearby container of water. And once the soil reaches a desired moisture level, the Blumat will stop pulling in water. You can even add fertilizer to the water supply — slow, continual feeding encourages prolific plant growth.

Plants grow healthier and faster
Slow and steady watering allows water to warm up before going into the soil, eliminating the worry of shocking your plants.
Blumat stakes will only draw water up 12 inches (30cm). Be sure to place your water supply within this range. If the surface of the water in your container is lower than this, the flow of water will be restricted and your plants will gradually dry out. Each Blumat holds a limit on how fast it can deliver water. Use several cones or a Blumat Classic XL for larger plants with higher water needs. In this case, also be sure to use a larger water reservoir.
With the included Extend-a-Kit, you can expand the reach of your Blumat stakes. Regarding plant health, sometimes it's best to have your water source further than the 33" that comes with the Blumat. This little kit gives you 10 extra feet of 8mm tubing plus 2 couplings, a T-splitter and a Y-splitter adapter. The couplings allow you extend your watering range and the T- and Y-splitters let you water 2 plants from a single water line.
