These two new products eliminate almost all the problems people have setting up and maintaining Tropf Blumats, save a huge amount of time, and also make it easy to adjust your entire system all at once!
Most of the time people spend setting up a Blumat system involves adjusting the sensors - both initially and when you need to make a change. We can do that for you now so all you'll have to do is plug them in. To make small adjustments later to provide more or less water, you can make a 10-second adjustment on an adjustable pressure reducer (if you have one) and change the flow rates for all at once.
Both 5" and 9" sensors arrive pre-calibrated with two markings on the brown adjustment dial - one for gravity and one for pressure systems. We normally recommend the 9" Maxis in these systems but also make this 5" size for pots smaller than 5 gallons.
This listing includes one 5 inch preset Blumat Tropf with a protective cap to prevent the setting from being accidentally changed. They come with two markings on the brown adjustment dial. Use the red mark for gravity systems and the blue one if you have pressure.

Steep ground but even watering!Most inexpensive irrigation kits require flat ground and a pressure reducer. This special dripline compensates for elevation and pressure changes and normally saves you the cost of a pressure reducer. This includes 100' of Apex Pressure Compensating drip line (12" Spacing 0.55GPH), a flushable end, and a 3/4" swivel hose thread beginning. You can cut into smaller sections, get more beginnings or endings; add a coupling (IG16744) and get another roll (IG18755) for longer lines.

This meter is useful for fine tuning low pressure systems. Although hard to find, a gauge with this small range makes it easy to troubleshoot and correct problems with BluSoak and other systems that require less than 5psi. With a higher psi meter, small changes would be almost impossible to detect.
Description
This a pressure reducer used for if you need a higher pressure due to having a longer distance going from your hose bib to your plants, or if your water supply is going up so you need a little extra pressure to bring it up vertically.
Blumat systems need low pressure, much less than comes from normal house water connections. Some of our kits include a pressure reducer but if you'd like to install the other ones or the separate components to a home water system, you'll need one of these Pressure Reducers.
In gravity systems you'll also need one if your storage tank is high uphill. In Grow Rooms and Greenhouses with a reservoir for mixing nutrients, you can connect a small pressure pump to this and automatically feed your plants when you water. On one side it adapts to a 3/4" male hose thread and on the other directly to the Blumat 8 mm supply tube.
For BluSoak Systems, use a our 0.5bar Pressure Reducer (7psi) as our BluSoak doesn't like pressure over 10psi and can even split. Or use one of these and a flow restrictor alternatively.
Description
This is the typical flow restrictor mis-named pressure reducer. They do reduce pressure but only if the flow range is at least 2 GPM. They work well in our EasyDrip and EasySoak systems but not in normal Blumat or BluSoak set-ups. They need at least 20 psi on the input side but not more than 120 psi.
