Description Manometers (IG16217): Use this manometer at the end of your water supply lines in gravity systems to make sure there is enough pressure and to adjust carrots for maximum flow rate. Water should go up 4'-5' in the clear tube with carrots all the way open. (Then adjust down to normal setting.) This can also help adjust Blumat sensors in pressurized systems but shouldn't be needed if the BluSoak Flow controllers are installed. Installation Instructions: Attach IG16217 Measuring tool to the end of your water supply line. If with a good valve (globe valves hardest to find but work the best) you can adjust the water level in the tube until it's 2-­­3' up. At that point, the soaker hose when on will use about 1/4 gallon per foot per 24 hours. The amount of water is in the same ratio as the water level - e.g. if you double the height, you will double the water flow. Description Foot valves go into a reservoir or water tank and keep the input line full of water. They let the water come in but not out. This prevents the need to prime the pump or for the pump to work hard self-priming. Blumats don't like air in the lines and this prevents that. Without it, the water goes back into the reservoir each time the pump turns off and air goes in. If you install the bulkhead fitting on the side of the reservoir though and the pump lower than the water level, you won't need this. 3/4" female pipe thread.

These also work great for putting at the end of your BluSoak line as a flush line, simply open the valve to purge water/air out. Description An easy way to connect and disconnect Blumat sensor carrots from a drip system or main line. Just an easy half-turn on and off. We have these in almost any configuration: from 3mm to 3mm, from 3mm to 1/8," from 3mm to 1/4," from 3mm to 8mm. These come as a reducer or from the same size to the same size. We also have these with auto stops so that when you disconnect them, the water flow automatically stops. This is very handy when you want to bring a system inside for the winter, change to a different location, if you harvest a plant(s) and want to stop the water flow, or if you want to change from a low flow to a high flow set up as a plant gets larger.
