Growers set up Blumat systems in many different situations with various kinds and sizes of supply line. These fittings and reducers allow you to customize an automated system in nearly any circumstance. Blumat systems come from Europe so most of the fittings are designed for European tubing measured in millimeters. Since people in the USA don't have good access to these diameters and thread sizes, it can be almost impossible to adapt a Blumats to a conventional drip or gardening system. Until now! We've found and assembled many different fittings to make this process easy. We can also special order these fittings in many different configurations and for many different pipe sizes. Use this to easily be able to turn off the water supply to multiple sensors in a single spot. The high quality quick-connects allow for easy customization and can make your system as efficient as possible.

Manometers (IG16217): Use this manometer at the end of your water supply lines in gravity systems to make sure there is enough pressure and to adjust carrots for maximum flow rate. Water should go up 4'-5' in the clear tube with carrots all the way open. (Then adjust down to normal setting.) This can also help adjust Blumat sensors in pressurized systems but shouldn't be needed if the BluSoak Flow controllers are installed. Installation Instructions: Attach IG16217 Measuring tool to the end of your water supply line. If with a good valve (globe valves hardest to find but work the best) you can adjust the water level in the tube until it's 2-3' up. At that point, the soaker hose when on will use about 1/4 gallon per foot per 24 hours. The amount of water is in the same ratio as the water level - e.g. if you double the height, you will double the water flow.

Description
Foot valves go into a reservoir or water tank and keep the input line full of water. They let the water come in but not out. This prevents the need to prime the pump or for the pump to work hard self-priming. Blumats don't like air in the lines and this prevents that. Without it, the water goes back into the reservoir each time the pump turns off and air goes in. If you install the bulkhead fitting on the side of the reservoir though and the pump lower than the water level, you won't need this. 3/4" female pipe thread.

Use a 1/4" quick-connect to turn the water from your supply line either on or off.
Conveniently connect different fittings to serve different functions. Use a 3mm to 8mm to connect your main water line to your Blumat carrot line. Fit a 3mm to 3mm quick connect to turn the water going directly into your Blumats either on or off. Adapt a 1/4" drip line to the Blumat 8 mm tubing - quick and easy with this handy connector. Later if you like, you can change either side and go to 3 mm, 1/4, or 8 mm.
These high quality quick connect can be implemented in a number of ways and are recommended for all watering systems to make your life easier.
Description
Connect your BluSoak directly to a 1/2" Male Pipe Thread. Comes with a Valve that allows you to stop water flow. These also work great for putting at the end of your BluSoak line as a flush line, simply open the valve to purge water/air out.
Use our 3/4" FHT to 1/2" MPT fittings (IG15620) and connect it directly to your hose. Make sure you reduce the pressure if not using a Flow Controller, pressure needs to be below 10psi if your trying to use our Soaker Hose, ideal is 3psi.
