WHAT ARE PRESET TROPF SENSORS?
Setting up a Blumat system has never been so easy
Setting up a Blumat sensor involves adjusting the sensors before you connect them with the rest of your system.
We now offer Blumat sensors that have been preset to hold your soil at the ideal moisture levels. When you receive your Blumat sensor, they only need to soak in water for 15 minutes and can then be connected directly to your water supply system and placed in the soil.
The Blumat Will Come With Two Markings
On The Brown Adjustment Dial
GRAVITY & CAPILLARY MAT SYSTEMS
Line up the red mark with the setting indicator.
PRESSURE SYSTEMS
Line up the silver mark to the setting indicator.
Preset Blumats,
come in both our 5 inch and 9 inch sizes. We recommend using a 5" sensor on any pot smaller than 5 gallons and a 9" sensor for pots 5 gallons and above.
Each unit you order will include a 9 inch Blumat with a protective cap.
