  • BLUMAT 8mm SHUT-OFF VALVE (Bulk)-1

    BLUMAT 8mm SHUT-OFF VALVE (Bulk)

    Out of stock

Description BLUMAT-READY - These valves are ready to be installed in-line in 8mm tubing in seconds! EASY CONTROL - Turn on/off water supply at the turn of a valve to your whole blumat system! HIGH QUALITY/ENDURING - Made simply & w/ care by Blumats you trust, you can expect these to last! PURGE - These work perfectly at the end of 8mm tubing to purge air and/or debris from the line! AUSTRIAN-MADE - Leave it to the Austrians to design and engineer such a foolproof device!   These shut-off (or on/off) valves from Blumat brand are the quarter-turn valves you've been looking for! These valves are ideal for blumat watering systems. They can be installed in-line in any 8mm tubing, but we recommend super-flex. Simply remove the collar, and place the collar over the 8mm tubing. Then slide the tubing over the 8mm barb, screw on the threaded collar, and you are in a perfect position to irrigate your plants! These can be used to turn on/off water supply to your entire garden, or just branches of your garden (or even individual plants, plant rows, etc.--your imagination is the limit!). PLOT TWIST: These blumat fittings can also be used as purge valves. A purge valve is used to remove air, particulate matter, or other debris from a water supply line. This can be accomplished in two different ways. One is simply by concluding an 8mm tubing or line with one of these valves. The valve will remain closed 99% of the time, but should be opened if air/debris is suspected in the tubing. The air and/or debris will flow out of the tubing when the valve is opened. The second way to install a purge valve in a blumat watering system is by cutting in the middle of a "loop" design, installing a 3-way 8mm Tee fitting, and installing one of these valves on the open-end of the tee. Simply open the valve to "purge" or clear your lines.

  • Foot Valve Connecting System-1

    Foot Valve Connecting System

    Out of stock

Description If connecting a Blumat pump system to a reservoir through the side or bottom is inconvenient or not possible, this option makes it easy to mount the pump above the reservoir without losing the prime. The foot valve stops the water from going back down into the reservoir and air getting into the line each time the pump turns off. This includes 6' of special flex-tube, a foot valve, clamps and fittings that will connect into the filter or pump.

  • Blumat Flush System 4-Way Valve

    Blumat Flush System 4-Way Valve

    Out of stock

Description This is the heart and soul of our Blumat flush systems - the 4-way valve. Rather than ordering all the extra parts and following a complex system, use this valve and customize your own. You can add several drip stakes for larger pots and use this in many different ways. This kit comes standard with fittings for 3 connections: one 3mm, one 1/4", and one 8mm for the supply line(s). NOTE: You can request different sizes or configurations for no extra charge. Our flush systems allow you to flush your plants, a necessary process for those adding nutrients into their system. Flushing removes excess nutrients and debris from from your supply line. You can also use a flush system to add thick nutrients and teas without clogging your Blumat sensors. Our flush valve has 4 settings: all closed, all open, one direction open, and the opposite direction open. Easily: Flush your plants Add thick nutrients and teas without clogging your Blumat sensors Clean out algal and bacterial slime, as well as sediment, from your supply lines Blumats won't allow water to flow until your potting soil dries up, which means the supply line gets flushed, not your soil. When adding tick nutrient or tea, simply turn the Blumat side off, letting the mix flow solely through the flush stake. When cleaning your lines, simply leave both sides open. This system includes everything except for a Blumat sensor: a valve, adapter fittings, tubing, and drip stake.

  • Float Valve-1

    Float Valve

    Out of stock

Description Most float valves operate like a toilet tank with a ball going up and down with the water. These work in water storage tanks but too easily get stuck. The water level also fluctuates more than Blumats tend to like. This one has the sensing aparatus inside a rectangular box which makes them more reliable. Outer housing molded of high impact resin. Withstands weather and abuse. Durable molded float. Two sets of brackets - fits poly tanks and steel tanks. handles up to 300 GPH inflow.

  • Foot Valve, 3/4"-1

    Foot Valve, 3/4"

    Out of stock

Description Foot valves go into a reservoir or water tank and keep the input line full of water. They let the water come in but not out. This prevents the need to prime the pump or for the pump to work hard self-priming. Blumats don't like air in the lines and this prevents that. Without it, the water goes back into the reservoir each time the pump turns off and air goes in. If you install the bulkhead fitting on the side of the reservoir though and the pump lower than the water level, you won't need this. 3/4" female pipe thread.

  • Last stock! Celcon Globe Valve 3/4"-1

    Celcon Globe Valve 3/4"

    3 in stock

Description Celcon Globe Valve 3/4" Globe Valves Globe valves tend to be hard to find because they reduce pressure much more than gate or ball valves. That's what makes them ideal for BluSoak systems that like very low pressure. The flow restrictors do this but only work if pressure is at least 10 psi. So to keep the pressure at 3 psi and prevent flooding if a Blumat sensor valve "runs away," you can use a globe valve and manometer. Open the Blumat all the way and turn the globe valve down until water in the manometer goes up to about 7 feet. Specifications Material Celcon Temperature_Rating 180 Degree F Pressure Rating(psi) 150 PSI Size 3/4" FIP x 3/4" FIPS Weight 0.22 lbs
