Growers set up Blumat systems in many different situations with various kinds and sizes of supply line. These fittings and reducers allow you to customize an automated system in nearly any circumstance. Blumat systems come from Europe so most of the fittings are designed for European tubing measured in millimeters. Since people in the USA don't have good access to these diameters and thread sizes, it can be almost impossible to adapt a Blumats to a conventional drip or gardening system. Until now! We've found and assembled many different fittings to make this process easy. We can also special order these fittings in many different configurations and for many different pipe sizes. Blumat 8mm Tees - bulk
Description These tees are great for branching a side line of Blumats off in a different direction. They're also really good for the middle of a loop in a hydroponic and/or grow room. If you use one of these and a valve, it makes it easy to let air and sediment out before it can cause problems.

BLUMAT 8mm SHUT-OFF VALVE (Bulk)
Description BLUMAT-READY - These valves are ready to be installed in-line in 8mm tubing in seconds! EASY CONTROL - Turn on/off water supply at the turn of a valve to your whole blumat system! AUSTRIAN-MADE - Leave it to the Austrians to design and engineer such a foolproof device! These shut-off (or on/off) valves from Blumat brand are the quarter-turn valves you've been looking for! These valves are ideal for blumat watering systems. They can be installed in-line in any 8mm tubing, but we recommend super-flex. Simply remove the collar, and place the collar over the 8mm tubing. Then slide the tubing over the 8mm barb, screw on the threaded collar, and you are in a perfect position to irrigate your plants! These can be used to turn on/off water supply to your entire garden, or just branches of your garden (or even individual plants, plant rows, etc.--your imagination is the limit!). PLOT TWIST: These blumat fittings can also be used as purge valves. A purge valve is used to remove air, particulate matter, or other debris from a water supply line. This can be accomplished in two different ways. One is simply by concluding an 8mm tubing or line with one of these valves. The valve will remain closed 99% of the time, but should be opened if air/debris is suspected in the tubing. The air and/or debris will flow out of the tubing when the valve is opened. The second way to install a purge valve in a blumat watering system is by cutting in the middle of a "loop" design, installing a 3-way 8mm Tee fitting, and installing one of these valves on the open-end of the tee. Simply open the valve to "purge" or clear your lines.

8mm BULKHEAD / Through-Hull Tank Connector
Description UNIVERSAL - Convert rain barrels, water tanks, or any other container into a blumat reservoir! SIMPLE - Drill a hole (using 1/2" bit) into your container, and install the nipple facing outward! 8MM OUTPUT - Integrate directly to 8mm flex line or other blumat-compatible water supply tubing DURABLE - Built to last by the same company bringing you Blumat watering stakes! FLEX-COMPATIBLE - Ideally suited for the flex tubing included with most blumat systems. Connect a blumat system to a rain barrel or water storage tank. Just screw half on the inside of the tank, the other on the outside. The nipple connects to the standard blumat 8 mm water supply/feed line. You can either start with one of these bulkheads, or a blumat pressure reducer--either of these fittings will "start" your blumat watering system. blumat Classic Jr and blumat xl do not require either. Use 1/2" drill bit to puncture hole. These bulkheads will work flawlessly with your blumats! They are easy to install, durable, perfectly fitted for other blumat equipment, and can instantly turn any container of your choice into a perfect blumat reservoir. These can also be used with drip irrigation lines and many other kinds of irrigation equipment. As long as you have 8mm tubing to attach to the nipple this bulkhead will do the trick. We use these on rain barrels, 5-gallon buckets, plastic totes, 55-gallon drums, and every other water vessel/container that you could imagine! Blumat 8mm Elbows - Individual
Description If you have lots of room and can easily make large, round bends; you won't need elbows. If you're in a smaller space though, they will save you lots of room and prevent kinking. See the pictures here for examples of using them to go up and down in raised beds.

BluSoak to 8mm Barbed Adapter
Description Convenient fitting to attach BluSoak to 8mm Supply tubing. Simply lock the tape in by inserting it into the adapter, and twist the blue part clockwise to lock in the tape. This is the same fitting we use to connect our BluSoak drip tape to our 3mm line, but instead only features the one fitting so you can attach the BluSoak drip tape to the 8mm tubing directly. Same adapter used for our BluSoak Systems, as well as our EasySoak Systems.

BluSoak Drip Tape End/Flush Plug
Description Use this convenient end plug to put an end to your BluSoak soaker hose/drip tape line. Alternatively you can knot the end of your BluSoak, but this is a much easier, better looking, and more efficient method to putting an end to the drip tape.

BluSoak Drip Tape to 3mm Blumat Adapter
Description Connect your Blu Carrot Soaker Hose to a 3mm Blumat line quickly and easily with this adapter. This allows you to connect a Blumat sensor to your BluSoak 2.0 Drip Tape to allow it to detect when the soil is wet enough, and stop feeding the BluSoak with water. When the soil dries near the carrots, then the Blumat carrot (sensor) will begin to feed water back in to the BluSoak line. If the BluSoak isn't close enough to the sensor, make sure to use a distribution dripper (IG15557) in between the sensor and this fitting (example picture shown in third image). Blumat Hose Unions - Individual
Description These Blumat 8mm Hose Unions, also known as 8mm couplers) are ideal for re-connecting your 8mm tubing back together. This fitting essentially acts as a band-aid to connect two pieces of 8mm tubing back together. Useful for fixing leaks or sections of your supply line that got kinked or opened up somehow. Simply cut into the tubing, and connect each side of the 8mm tubing back together, no need to purchase an entire extra line of tubing.
